Prerelease versions of songs on Facebook and Myspace also caught the ears of local radio programmers resulting in the songs and the band being featured on 106.9 The Wolf and 99.3 The Fox in Vancouver. The music also impressed Vancouver Olympic Committee organizers who chose to use the song “Take It Out On” on it’s playlists at various VANOC venues, and the City of Nanaimo who chose Stereoplane as the headline act for the Olympic Torch Relay in October.
Anyone who has heard the record or seen the band live knows that the future is exciting for Stereoplane. Their new single, “Good Man”, was remixed by Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Franz Ferdinand) so watch out for these guys on the radio and at a venue near you.
